The efficiency and logic of Permaculture is what drew me to it. Yes, a component of it is food self sufficiency but beyond that it is a complete design system for our homes, the needs of our communities and the needs of our planet. I cannot improve on the explanations that Bill Mollison and David Holmgren provide. :-) George
